This is what we are standing on for this season at City Church.

H - Harness your ability to believe
You have to deeply believe that we serve a God that can do the supernatural.
Psalm 86:8-10, Nowhere among the pagan gods is there a god like you, O Lord. There are no other miracles like yours. All the nations--and you made each one-- will come and bow before you, Lord; they will praise your great and holy name. For you are great and perform great miracles. You alone are God.
A - Align your faith
When you align your faith – Be Specific with your prayers.
Matthew 7:9-11, “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?
When you get specific with God, God will get specific with you.
R - Reach out to a prayer partner
This year at City Church we are asking EVERYONE to have a specific prayer partner.
Matthew 18:18-20, Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
Praying together keeps us focused on the Gospel mission.
V - Visualize what God has promised
You can’t reap a harvest you do not see.
Genesis 15:5, Then the LORD took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!”
As we begin to visualize the harvest in our church it will ignite a deep passion for the things of the Lord!
E - Embrace the work of the Holy Spirit
The harvest is not just a matter of the head; it is also a matter of the heart.
Ephesians 3:16, I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.
S - Sow a seed
2 Corinthians 9:6, Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Sowing a seed in the Bible always seems to open a door for what God wants to do.
T - Tighten your grip
Don’t lose sight of what God is showing you.
Galatians 6:9, Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
We must pray to the Lord of the harvest.
