Description of Community

As a life-giving church, we are a community of men and women who have accepted the life-giving message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to be empowered by God's Spirit, and enjoy the company of other fellow believers and seekers in worship, prayer, and fellowship.

We believe that man's highest duty and greatest privilege is to worship God and to enjoy Him forever. Worship brings us into God's presence and as such becomes the fountain of our life and service to Christ.

We believe that the atmosphere of our church should be characterized by love, acceptance and forgiveness. It should be a safe place for people to gather to seek the deeper things of Christ. It should be a place where the love of Jesus is demonstrated through the love of His people.

We believe that the Word of God is truth-that it is God's gracious revelation of himself and his will to mankind. Therefore, we will be people of the Bible, who will read, study, share and accept its principles for our lives. We understand that culture changes, but the Word of God will stand forever.

We believe that church should not just be a crowd. It should be a community and at the core of this community there should be dedicated disciples-Christ followers who are committed to the habits of godly living and active Christian service.
