What is Mother’s Day Out?

MDO is a childcare program offered to the community by City Church. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 9am to 2pm. We do ask if you are interested in your child attending our Mother's Day Out program to please contact our director to set up a time to meet and discuss registration and to familiarize yourself with our program. We do not accept drop offs. 

Where is Mother’s Day Out located? 

We meet in the Family Life Center in room 103.   We also have access to an extra room, the gym, and an outdoor play area.

What does it cost for my child to be in Mother’s Day Out?

We charge $3.50 per hour for the first child and $2.50 per hour for any additional children. Parents pay at the end of each day.

How many times can I bring my child to Mother’s Day Out?

Children may stay any two of the three days that we are open and they may stay between one and five hours.

What can I expect when my child arrives to Mother’s Day Out?

MDO offers a very flexible schedule. We have a sign in sheet that parents fill out before entering MDO. Depending on the time of day the child is dropped off would determine the activity that we would be doing. We are in the room enjoying free play for the first hour of the day; usually most children arrive during this hour.

How do you have your classes divided up? 

Right now we only have two classes, 6 months - 2 years and 2 1/2 years and above.

Will my child have the same teacher each week?

Yes. We have different teachers for different days, but they have a consistent schedule.

How will you contact me if my child needs me?

We require parents to fill out emergency contact information for each child. We will call if there is a problem.

How does Mother’s Day Out keep parents involved in their child’s experience at City Church?

We try to talk with each parent on a daily basis to keep them informed about their child and what is happening from day to day.
