CC Family!
I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to take a minute to share my heart with you. We are living in some crazy times, and it seems like there is tension everywhere we turn.
My desire is to encourage you as we walk through this highly polarizing political season. Rather than telling you who to vote for or what position you should hold on every issue, I want to encourage you to do your homework!
With the midterm elections coming up in November, I am asking each one of you to do three things:
Be informed. Take time to understand the candidates and the issues.
Pray. Ask God for wisdom, and pray for those who will lead us.
Vote. Make your voice heard.
As you do, remember: God cares more about you becoming like Jesus than winning a political argument. How you treat people who disagree with you matters more than having the perfect comeback.
May God bless us as we seek to honor Him, and let’s remember we are in transit here…we are just passing through. Our ultimate home is in a place called Glory!
Have a great week!
Love you, CC Family!
