Lent Begins This Wednesday – Join Us

City Church Family,

Lent begins this Wednesday, and as a church community, we will be joining thousands of Christians around the world in observing this sacred season. The first day of Lent is known as Ash Wednesday, and it marks the beginning of a 40-day journey as we prepare our hearts for Easter.

This year, we will be hosting a walk-through Ash Wednesday experience, and we would love for you to stop in and participate. You can join us on February 18th from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM or 6:30 PM–8:00 PM. It will be a meaningful time to pause, reflect, and center our hearts on the Lord.

During Lent, we will also be participating in a church-wide fast every Wednesday from sunrise to sunset. We invite you to lean in with us as we take this 40-day journey to the cross, asking God to do a deep work in us and through us.

Let’s step into this season together with expectation.
