At City Church, we desire to be a praying church. Whether we are on the mountain tops or in the valley of despair, prayer is one of the greatest tools God has given us! Too often, we act first then pray later, wanting God to bail us out of the mess we have made, but prayer needs to be our first response, not our last hope.
There is so much beauty to discover in prayer. Prayer that touches the heart of God brings deep formation to our personal lives. It is the beauty of having a conversation with the Creator of the universe!
As your connection with God grows, you will experience the nearness of His presence which will bring a deep sense of renewal in your life. Taking even the first step toward making prayer a priority can help it become a necessary part of your daily routine, and before you know it, you will see the benefits of praying first!
