I wanted to share some positive news about our ongoing efforts to support our community. We’ll be assisting our neighbors who may be affected by the potential disruption to SNAP benefits. Many of us are praying this is resolved before it goes into effect, but at the same time, we’re doing our part to support those in need.

To help address immediate needs, we’ve donated $5,000 to local food pantries. We want to do everything we can to serve both our church family and the wider community during this time. Please join me in praying for a quick resolution to the government shutdown, hopefully by this Saturday. We’ll also have an announcement and more details to share on Sunday.

Lastly, don’t forget that our clothing drive is happening this month! Bring your donations starting this Sunday and help us make a difference.  Drop gently used clothes off at the missions corner by the cafe.
